Isole Eolie - Una vacanza tranquilla
E’ soprattutto a Filicudi, piu’ che in ogni altra isola dell’arcipelago, che i pochi borghi abitativi affacciati sulla costa continuano a vivere in una dimensione piu’ segreta, schiva e intrigante. I borghi principali sono Filicudi Porto, dove attraccano le navi e gli aliscafi, Pecorini a mare e, in collina, Valdichiesa. Una recente strada asfaltata collega i tre paesi, ma vengono ancora utilizzate le numerose mulattirìere e i sentieri che erano un tempo le uniche vie di circolazione. Invece, nulla e’ cambiato dal punto di vista urbanistico: le case, tipicamente eoliane, non sono state modificate e si spargono lungo la costa sud-orientale sui rilievi piu’ dolci dell’isola assecondando l’orografia del terreno e i confini di proprieta’. Il villaggio preistorico di Filo Braccio si puo’ raggiungere a piedi in circa mezz’ora, con partenza da Filicudi porto.
