Massa Carrara en Toscane - Fivizzano
Le territoire de la Commune de Fivizzano est un de plus étendu de la province, situé entre l’Apenin Toscan Émilien et les Alpes Apuanes. On y arrive en prenant la route nationale « S.S. 63 » qui nous mène d’« Aulla » au col du « Cerreto » et puis à « Reggio-Emilia ». Les premiers documents sur la ville se rapportent au voisin château de « Verrucola », donné par l’empereur Enrico V à Ugo d’Este, en 1077. « Forum Verrucolae » naît comme lieu de marché dépendant de la siège féodale, grâce à son heureuse position géographique. Avec l’arrive des Malaspina le château devient « Forum Fivezzani » et, puis, en 1477 entre dans la République Florentine, avec le nom de « Fivizzano ».
